The 2007 Jeep Liberty was an intense vehicle, which could accommodate five members and had four doors. The starting price of the model was $21,600, which extended up to $26,745 for the top end trims. It had the mileage about 17-18 miles per gallon within city and 22-23 miles per gallon on the highway roads.
Its open or swing tailgate had opening glass and carries one auxiliary tire. It was offered in up-level Limited and Sport trim levels, which had 3.7 liter V6 engine that punched 210-hp of power.
Engine and Transmission
The same V6 engine which was available in 2006 model continued to be used on the 2007 Liberty too. The Sport trim was offered with 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive along with rear wheel drive and dual 4WD system, which has low-range gearing. The two 4WD systems were Jeep’s Command-Trac, which was supposed to engage on dry roadway and also an extra-cost Selec-Trac, which could engage on dry path.
Safety Features
However, coming across the safety features, antiskid/traction control and ABS were the standard offerings, whereas the modified curtain side air bags with turnover were optional. The additional features comprising of seated front seats, wire less cell phone link, leather upholstery, sunroof and advanced navigation system added to the its credibility.
